Operating from my home shop allows me to prioritize what matters most. I am happily married with three beautiful teenage daughters who keep us wonderfully busy. This flexible career also allows me to support my wife as she pursues her own calling—pouring love and compassion into the elementary school students she teaches and be there more for the family as well.

Welcome to Faith & Honor! I’m Scott Schmitz, the founder and craftsman behind the work. For years, custom engraving was a passionate hobby I pursued while serving on active duty. In May 2024, I officially launched Faith & Honor as a side business, and after retiring with 20 years of military service in October 2025, I took the leap to run it full-time.

The name 'Faith & Honor' wasn't just a catchy choice—it represents the two pillars of my life: my faith as a Christ follower and my two decades of service to our country. I am incredibly proud of my military career, but I am equally excited for this chapter where I get to do what I love every single day.
